Report data to stay on one page

trying to create a report, i am using the group header and keeping them together. when i run the report the information just uses one column of the page and goes into a 2nd page. i need the data to flow in a column format from left to right and fill up the page and go into a 2nd page if the first on fills up.

attached is an example of how i would like the data to flow.

I assume it's the same for 97; in later versions you'd set up columns in Page Setup.
