Report last 12 Hrs Shift Report

Hi guyes I created a database for reporting purpose very basic one , but I need to know if there's any way to let my reprot view only the last 12 Hours entries .

This will allow me to generate two diffrent reports

    Morning Shift Report (06:00 PM - 6:00 AM )
Night Shift Report (06:00 AM - 06:00 PM)

At present the report will print everything in all durtions at once , which is i don't want .

    Best Regards,

I doubt anyone can help without knowing how your data is structured.

Smile RE: Report last 12 Hrs Shift Report

    Hi ,

To avoid making any mistake in my explanation kindly see my attached access 2007 database .

I’d like to have four different reports
    1- Morning Shift Activity Report ( 6 AM – 6 PM)
    2- Night Shift Activity Report ( 6 PM – 6 AM) .
3- Open Issues till date .
4- Closed Issues till date .

I know I need to create a query and linked my reports to that query after setting the right criteria to retrieve my records .
I change my question as follow to be more specific
What’s exactly the query criteria expression for asking my report to recall the records of last 12 hours ( 6 AM – 6 PM ) and another report ( 6 PM – 6 AM ) only .

Still I am reading here and there to build my knowledge , but the problem I need this to be done as early as possible to make it more user friendly and helpful .

    Note : I am not a professional user , but I learn quickly i hope so .

    Regards ,

These types of things, probably replacing the date portion with a reference to a form for the user to specify a date:

    Between #4/12/2011# + #6:00:00 AM# And #4/12/2011 6:00:00 PM#

    Between #4/12/2011# + #6:00:00 PM# And (#4/12/2011#+1) + #6:00:00 AM#
