    Help with Forms and Subforms

I created a form and was working just fine for entering data. I then created a subform to track the work orders for the customer. It is a continuous form with its own table. I used the subform button to add it to the main form.

Now however, when i go into my main form, it will not allow me to add or edit any of the main information. When I try to add a record, i get an error "Can't go to the specified form". When i try to add or change data in the existing record, it just beeps at me.

Please help. I have searched all over help and the internet to try and find a solution.

well that's confusing. I can't quite figure out the symptom. A subform must have a cross reference to the main form. The wizard prompts for this during set up.

Or the subform can be totally unbound and unrelated to the main form.

could be your cross reference isn't feasible. could be your main form's record source query is not updateable and that the symptom actually is not being caused by the subform at all but just a coincidence....

    Not sure this helps.
