filter the chart in one report by combo box control in one form

i want to filter one chart in report by combo box in my form.when i filter one field in query by that combo box by similar expression:



"Forms![Read]![Combo16] "

i don't have any problem but when i create one chart by that query in one report i receive this error:

' The microsoft Office Access database engine does not recognize 'Forms![Read]![Combo16]' as a valid field name or expression.'

how i can filter the chart in one report by combo box control in one form?

Hi have you been able to sort your problem. I'm having a similar problem and seems to to find a solution as yet

The form needs to be opened with the combo box value selected while you are running your report. Where are you putting your criteria to open the report? Is it in your query? Also, you may need to use the equal sign "=Forms!Read!yourcomboboxname
