Error when using Package Solution Wizard

I am trying to package an Access 2007 database using the Package Solution Wizard but receive the following error:

A folder name cannot contain any of the following characters:
    /\:*?"<>|+,;=[]

My first thought, obviously, was to check for an invalid character in one of the file paths I had entered, but they are all correct. Next, I tried a different computer, but received the same error. I've now tried 4 computers and they all do the same thing. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, SP1 with Office 2007, SP2.

Google tells me it's a bug in the wizard that doesn't handle subfolders for the installation directory correctly. I also saw where they eventually released a fix for the 2010 version, but no help on Access 2007. Leaving the subfolder blank isn't an option since it's a required field, so I'm stuck.

Is anyone familiar with this issue or know a fix?

you're using the access ADE's to do this packaging?? is that correct??

I never ran into this problem with the 2007 ADE's. and I installed into plenty of subfolder names, with plenty of files accompanying as well.

Maybe you have a bad installation package?? I can upload mine here for sure, if you'd like to try it.

I feel pretty stupid. I was trying to include an additional file with the package and had misinterpreted "Install Subfolder" to mean I could pick the full path for the file. The full path I specified included the disallowed "\" which resulted in the error.

I guess the error was correct, just not specific enough for me to understand what it meant.
