Average function

How do I create an expression that will average a group of fields?



I have five fields and I want to generate an average of these fields for each row. Can't seem to get the 'avg' to work.

Avg (and Access itself) is designed to work across records, not fields. You'll have to write a function that does what you want, similar to these:
