    Duplicate form

    Hello all,
I have a form that I use for data entry. I also use it with two queries to send in PDF format via email. Is there a way to Copy the form and save it with a different name so I don't have to keep changing the record source? I am trying to avoid designing the exact same form again.
    Thank you for your time.

    hello RuralGuy,
    1. I followed your instruction. I see the copy version of the form, but it does not show in the panel. Do you know where I can get it?
    2. In File, there is an option "Save Object As". Question: where I can find the saved object?

It depends on what the object is.

    Hello RuraGuy,
Yeah, I still talk about the form. I could not find the form after I save the form "Save Object As".
    Here what I did:
    1. Open "Form 1"
    2. Change "Form 1" to Design View
    3. Go to File select Save Object As
    4. A prompt message pops up for re-naming to Form 2
    5. Select Ok.

I see the title Form 2 on the main screen, but I do not see it on the All Access Objects panel. So where I can find Form 2?

    Thanks
    CT

It should be listed alphabetically under Forms. Exit the Form and close access and then open access again.

    RuralGuy,

Yes, I did close the new form (Form 2), and exit the Access database.
I re-opened the Access database, the new form did not appear/show on the Form area of All Access Objects panel. I do not know where the new form was stored, and how to re-load it. I lost it completely. I know that it exists some where in the database, but do not know exact where.
I did enable the "Show Hidden Objects" and "Show System Objects" options in the Navigation Options. However, the new form would not show either.

Uh very frustrated. Anyone can help please.

    Thanks
    CT

If you open the form in design view and then "Save Object As" and don't rename it, I believe it names it "Copy of Old Name of Form".

    RuralGuy,
Yes, it is correct as you stated. However, the problem is the "Copy of Old Name of Form" does not appear in the Form area on the All Access Objects panel.

My ac2010 does as I have suggested. What lines are checked when you drop down the "All Access Objects"?
