    Like an "IF...THEN" in excel

I am trying to make a new field query that pulls information from a table IF it matches a column from a different table. Basically if a certain plant occurs at a site then I would like to return the wetland status that matches it. Is it possible to do something like an "IF...THEN" statement in excel as a new field in a query??

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, there is. Have a look at "Iif function" (note the two "I"s) in Visual Basic online help. Works in both queries and VBA.
