    Question about Value List

I have a drop down list control on a form, and in the Properties Sheet, under Row Source Type, it says "Value List."

The Row Source is as follows: "Stat";"Statistics";"Demo";"Demographics" and so on.

When I run this form in Form View, I notice that there are two columns. However I don't see where one can modify the number of columns in the Properpty Sheet.

Question: Does the Value List use 2 columns by defaults? Is there a way to change this?

    Thanks.

According to your value list, you should have 2 columns.

But if you want to change the number of columns, in design view of the form, click on the combo box, then open the properties dialog box. Click on the FORMAT tab (I have A2K3 - might be different in A2K7). Look for the line "COLUMN COUNT". Changing this changes the number of columns displayed in the combo box when it is dropped down.

    Also, "HELP" has more info......

Thanks Steve! I was looking for Column count in the Data tab, no wonder I couldn't find it!
