    Find Next Button on Form

I have created a form that is being shared by 8 reviewers. I want to load 1000 cases into the table that drives the form and when a reviewer logs into the form, they can click on a “Find Next” button and it will take them to the an uncompleted record. They would then assign the case to themselves and complete it. Then Click "Find Next" and it would go to the next uncompleted case.

I have tried writing Macros and assigning it to a button but I just haven't found the magic formula yet. I am fairly new to building applications so I would appreciate a step by step answer.

You will have a couple of issues to solve. 1) What constitutes an "uncompleted record"? 2) Stopping another Reviewer from grabbing the same record.

I have a field called QCS_#. If this field is blank, then the case has not been assigned to anyone yet. But you are right, what happens when a few of the reviewers go looking for an uncompleted case at the same time. It's far beyond what I know about writing Macros and that is why I am enlisting the help of experts.

Can you at least create a button that finds the first record that does not have a QCS_# value yet? You may also want to review this MS article about the "#" in the name: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=826763
