Create a form from a normalized database

    Hello,

I just got a lot of help with my first normalized database, now I am working on a form to enter data into.

I attached the database with a form, and you will see that I have one started using the type of logic I wish to use - so long as it is practical.

Can I continue using that pattern on the form provided, or is there a better way that I am unaware of?

I want to have two forms, one for "admin" data input, and one for reservation input. Please take a look at what I have here.... If I can maintain what I am starting, I would certainly like to continue, but like i said, I want something that is solid and not too crazy should the time come to make additions to the database.

I also have a survey portion, and would like to build a form to perform "admin" functions on the database as well... any suggestions?

    Okay,

I have attached a recent copy of the access database.

You will see two forms, one for admin purposes, and the other for reservation purposes.

I am guessing that I have to just connect the fields to the appropriate field in the correct table, but there are others, because I am new at working with a normalized database, junction tables, and all the rest, I am not sure how to set them up. Also, I would like to know how to get a text box to populate information based on a selection in a drop down (i believe this is done through the use of a query).

So to start, do I , in design view [select control > click down arrow on Data Property Sheet > navigate to the table which contains the field that corresponds with the control > click ok]?

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
