Conditional formatting not preserved on export

I'm generating a report that will ultimately be emailed out as a status report, and I'm discovering that access does not preserve conditional formatting when exporting a report.

Is there any way around this? (other than generating a *.pdf as an attachment, I need the report to be the body of the email.)

    Thanks

What are you using Conditional Formatting to achieve? Maybe there is another way that would work with your situation.

I'm generating a report showing our current jobs and current status. The client wants to see jobs which have changed status within the last week highlighted.

I considered just manually creating an HTML file, but it seems like their should be an easier way.

To what are you "exporting" the report?
