    Moving Forms

My apologies if my terminology is not correct but i am new to Access.

Firstly hello to all of you, i am looking forward to using this forum.

I have created a database in access 2010, and also a form, what i am trying to do is move the form for entering the information to put on my desk top? Can you point me in the right direction.

    Thanks Mike

If I'm reading this correctly you are trying to create a shortcut directly to the form from your desktop, is that correct?

you can do this actually, but Access is required to open. sorry. no other way around it. the engine has to run.

you can hide the access widow when it opens via windows API, but it causes more problems that what you would have solved. and that's confirmed by many people I know, including myself.

however, that api code is spread everywhere on the net if you want it.
