Hi All,
I've tried asking this in the Adobe forums, but no luck. Hopefully someone here can help.
I'm trying to populate a fillable PDF with data from Access from the push of a button on an Access form. Ideally, the user doesn't even see Adobe opening up. I would like the form to save and attach itself to an email.
Only one of out computers has Adobe Pro and I cannot compile the Access DB, so I cannot use any libraries that aren't included with the free version of Reader DC.
So far, the best solution I have found is writing an .XFDF file and opening it in a shell. This isn't ideal, but it works. I just can't help but feel there is a better way of doing this. Writing the .XFDF file line-by-line in VBA is painstakingly long and tedious. I do not have access to any authoring software (that I know of) to help me write it.
Thanks for any ideas you may have!
Scott
