Thank you for a very informative forum. First, I'd like to admit that I know very little about programming but we have a major problem, please help.
Our small company contracted with a programmer several years ago to develop a management system. He chose Access.
After several upgrades, all has worked well since 2007 and we haven't seen the programmer in years and have no idea how to contact him.
Here's the problem.
OS is Windows XP, SP 2
MS Office 2003, SP 3
After installing SP 3, The opening screen works fine. But, certain other boxes, such as the case select window have a white background and no letters are visible.
The cases are there because you can scroll down and select one and the subscreen is displayed fine.
Now, I'm not completely ignorant of access, just not a programmer. I opened the file in edit mode by holding down the shift key.
I opened the form for editing by opening the offending form in design mode and selecting font color and black.
No help
This only occurred after upgrading to SP 3. I've copied the program to machines using SP 2 and it works flawlessly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
IMA
