Error 2950 only on part of the fields after cloning hdd

    Hello.
I have database that I made 15 yrs ago and still using it. I am still a access newbie.
Several days ago I switched to new ssd hdd and after that, when clicking command in form to create report for printing (which contains data from form and table), I get error 2950, but ONLY from record 24 and later. I found that those records were added after switching hdd and messing with regional settings. I modified trusted center directory but still nothing.
Help! Please! It is really frustrating not able to solve it

Yes I have, compact and repair but nothing. Also, I noticed That when new filed is created, I get one chance to click on command button for report and after that also shows error 2950.

Did windows run an office update?
There have been db errors with the latest update. We had to roll it back to get the db to work.

what version of access was your database created in? presumably a .mdb if it was 15 years ago, but what version? 97/2000/2003? Has this been upgraded to .accdb? And when did you change to 2013?

You tag says you are using 64bit access - mdb's are 32bit. So you might need to modify code for it to work in 64bit if you are using API calls.

Yes, it was mdb. But I switched to accdb a while ago.
Thank You. I will try that later.
Also, I will try rollback if nothing else helps.

    Hi,

This error occurs when MS Access does not trust the database from which the macro is run. So by default, access opens that database which is not trusted, in disabled mode.

In disabled mode, executable content will be disabled and will prevent you from running a macro.

You can fix it by enabling the database for current session:

    1. Open your access database.
    2. From the security warning message bar, click on Options.
    3. When the dialog box opens, click on "enable this content".
    4. Then click on OK.

    This should fix it.

If the problem still exists, you must try a third party tool which gives you the feasibility to see the preview of your database .

    Best Regards.
