    made copies of another one

After making copies of one of the access file - when you make changes to one it affected the other one. Why is that, I don’t know why it happens like that.

For example if you unhide tables, queries it affected the one you copied from even if is saved on a share drive. How do you disable it or has anyone experienced it ?

Some of those settings are client side, e.g. they are local to your access.exe , not the database you are opening.

It will depend on the client settings in their local access.exe

Ok I was hoping my update doesn’t affect what they see since is a copied. But some files I copied doesn’t change to the copied file when I make changes to one of the file.

Do you know why and where is the setting ?

If you want to force hiding of things on opening the database you can through VBA.
There is an excellent sample here https://www.access-programmers.co.uk...d.php?t=293584 that shows how to control almost every aspect of the access window.
