    Shortcut & .mdw

Hi all, I haven't assigned a security file in such a long time and I cannot remember the syntax for assigning in the desktop shortcut in the Target of the shortcut properties. Can you please take a look and tell me what I am doing wrong:

    "C:\Documents and Settings\ch017ki\My Documents\DBProgrammingResources\DOC_Control.mdb" "C:\Documents and Settings\ch017ki\My Documents\DBProgrammingResources\DocControl_Train. mdw"

    Thank you!

    Path to .mdw

Do I have to use any special characters or anything - brackets?

    "C:\Documents and Settings\ch017ki\My Documents\DBProgrammingResources\DOC_Control.mdb" /WRKGRP "C:\Documents and Settings\ch017ki\My Documents\DBProgrammingResources\DocControl_Train. mdw"

When I try to open, I get an error message that says Microsoft Access cannot find... then another message box that says it doesn't recognize my command...

There are 3 paths in that shortcut. The 1st one points to the MSAccess.exe that you want to use. With Access 2007 my path in XP is: "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\MSAccess.exe" but your may be different depending on how you installed. You *cannot* leave that off of the shortcut.
