What database is open in my current Access session?

I often launch several instances of ms access 2007, opening a different accdb file in each one. I switch between them. Sometimes, I just want to look at the access database window and KNOW which database is open. Sometimes I can see the name in the title bar. Sometimes not. How can I look at the name of the open database in access database window with a click or two?

if you've given the db a title, the name should always be in that bar.

I would think so. But as sure as I'm sitting here, I have 3 instances of A2007 open right now, and none of them are displaying the name of the opened accdb file. Across the bottom of my screen, I can click the ms office minimized application icon and all three pop up saying ms access and the db filenames. But not across the title bar at the top of the open ms access database windows - no not one, no not one. That is the odd exception. Generally, at least one will have a database filename showing.

are you sure they have titles? naming a file is different than providing a title for the db.

what exactly do the title bars say? in 07, if there is no title, the file name and the program name appear in the bar.

In the title bar, I see "Microsoft Access" and a clickable link saying "Table Tools" (which changes my toolbar if I click it)

    Odd? yes, I think so.

I'm not sure how to help. sorry. are you running a rt version of access? that might change it. I know you can modify the title bar with api code, but the chances that someone did that to you are low, I'm sure. you're using access 2000 too, so I'm not sure how much that changes things.

are there title bar options in the options menu? It's been so long since i've seen pre-07 anything that I can't remember what the tabs in that menu say.

I'm using 2007. It is confusing. That's for sure.
