    Access permission

    Im new at access.
I have an excel file. What I have to do, is give different users in Access different rights what they can do whit that excel file.
Lets say user1 can only see the first row of it.
User2 is only allowed to see worksheed 2 of the excel file.
How to do this in Access?

    Can someone help me?
It would be great if someone could give me a step by step introduction.

    Sorry for my bad english.

    Thx

    Hi,

I don't think Access is the right tool if all you want is to implement security levels in an Excel workbook. Perhaps you can look at the protection possibilities in Excel itself (sheet protection, protected views, ...)
