Importing data from Oracle to access

    Hi All,

Does anyone know how data is imported into Access from Oracle via the Noetix client? It would be very helpful to get information on this.

    Thanks,
    Indira

I don't know the capabilities of Access '97 and don't have a copy to test. I have done something similar using older versions of Access.

You should be able to set up an ODBC connection to either the Oracle database (to query the Noetix views directly) or using the Noetix ODBC driver (assuming you're using Noetix Platform).

I have downloaded something called the Discover application, but not sure how to connect it still. Thanks for helping.

I'm not familiar with that tool.

Have you tried setting up a linked table to your Oracle database? These instructions detail the process pretty well.
