Question Take my access database to a UI

I want to move my access database to a program basis, ie. when it is open you don not have the options to view in design mode, you can't edit the forms ect. is this possible? I want other people to be able to use it without being able to change it.

I also want to be able to distribute it to other divisions so that they can use it and have thier own data.

    What can I do.

    Thanks

Welcome to the world of software deployment, training and support.

First you will need to split your database if it is not already.

See: Splitting your Access database into application and data

I compile my front ends into an MDE/ACCDE before deploying. I also use Access in Run time mode.

You will also need to build in some type of version control.

Alert: Be sure to allocate some time daily for training and support of the users.

A good help system and documentation in my opinion is also a must have.
