    Formatting numbers in a report

I thought this should be a simple thing, but I am stumped.

How do I format a cell in a report so to mirror the accounting format in Excel.

For example, if my value is 1,234.00, I can used the Standard format to have the number appear that way. So that is OK.

But if my value is (1,234.00), the Standard format will show it as -1,234.00 instead of with the brackets as in Excel.

And if my value is 0.00, the Standard format will show it as 0.00 instead of "-" as in Excel.

Is this doable or am I stuck with what is available in the dropdown menu?

    Thanks.

    set the format to #,###.00;(#,###.00);-

There are 3 part of the format which seperate by two ";", the first part is for numbers >0, the second for numbers<0, the third for 0.
