    Lookup function

I am building a database to house users of systems. Some users overlap between systems. I have 5+ tables that show the users of each system and their entitlements. I have a main form that shows user information. I am working on a combo box that when an item is selected it will open a form to the corresponding system. What I would like to do would be to create a search function that when I type in a user name it would autopopulate the combo box to show which systems the user has access to. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to accomplish this?

You should merge the 5+ user tables into one.

Weekend's advice is correct. A bit brief perhaps, but correct - if you are saying that you have a table per user or per 'system'. If that is not what you are saying - then it is not clear....
