Accessing different parts of the same form

Hi, please could someone answer a question for me?

I have created a form to collect data accessed by a button on a switchboard. The problem is the form really neads to be split into two sections. The first half is to be filled in by one person in the office and saved. Later a second person needs to go into the same form and fill in the second part of it then save the completed form.

Is there a way of setting it up with two control buttons on the switchboard so then when the first person clicks on the first button only the first half of the form is visible, the rest hidden. He can then fill in his part and save it.
When the second person then clicks on the second button the same form opens but with the second half of the form vissible and the first half hidden. He can then finish off the form then save it.

Iwill also need the first button to open the form as a new record and the second button open the form as the last record..

Any Ideas, or am I flogging a dead horse here.

    Hope you can Help, Andy

It is very simple. You are not flogging a dead horse, but you do need to get an Access textbook and learn. There is multiple ways one could implement this - the first thing that comes to mind is why not simply make 2 different forms? - the users wouldn't know....but yes you can also toggle visibility of form controls. This is why you need a textbook as such things are explained. Easily found at Amazon or any large book store.

Hope this helps you going in the right direction.
