I have an application installed in 6 locations (1-6). Written in Access 2013 but running in those locations with the 365 runtime. The accdb file is started from an icon on the desktop. Everything was fine until #5. This was a brand new HP all-in-one. Every few days the icon won't work. Something flashes very quickly but the app won't start. A reboot fixes it but just signing out and then back in fixes it. It runs fine for several days and then the problem returns. I disabled all startup apps that I didn't think were needed but that made no difference.
I installed in site #6 recently. These people wanted an HP all-in-one, I tried to talk them out of it but they were insistent. I took the machine out of the box, did a fresh install of Windows Home 11, and then did the installation. There don't seem to be any problems in site #6 - at least not yet.
All I can think of is that HP had something set in #5 and that was no longer an issue when I did a Windows install in #6.
Starting over in #5 would be difficult because they're 2600 miles away.
If anyone has an idea I'd love to hear it.
