    Hi Karin,

Sorry but I don't see the Word template in any of the two zip files, could you please upload it again?
EDIT: Found it, sorry, I thought that was one file in post #11....

    Hi Karin,
Please review this updated file, made some changes and it seems to be working for me (you will need to refresh the links). You had the merge .Execute line commented out. I also added an extra line to close the main merge document.

    Hi Karin,

Here's a demo of Albert's Super easy word merge that works in both 32 and 64 bit.

I'm sorry. I am having a blonde month! I had been waiting for a reply and I had 2 and didn't see them. So sorry.

I think I commented out the .execute because it kept dying on the OpenDataSource. Which doesn't make any sense that I did that. Sorry again.

I am still getting the header records delimiter message showing up and then the unable to open data source error message. It is showing the delimiters as Tab and Enter. So, to me, that makes sense that it would die as it is a comma delimited file. When I change the delimiter to comma and enter it still dies with the unable to open the data source message. So if it was working for Vlad, there must be something specific to my set up that is causing this. Any idea what that could be? An option I need to fix somewhere?

    Thanks.
    Karin

    Hi Karin,
Are you using the exact files I uploaded and the Word doc you sent me?

You were right Vlad. Thanks for putting up with me. I can't seem to do basic things this week.
I took the DB you uploaded and only relinked the backend. It ran great. Yay!
Since my brain seems to be mush this week, I am going to ask a stupid question. How do I get your working version to work in my full version? I can't seem to see what you changed to make it work.

No worries Karin, glad to hear you're making progress. I believe all my changes were done in the public EmailAuthorizerApprovedLetter procedure located in the Processing standard module, so I suggest you start with that (comment out the old one and copy this updated one into the module). I have commented my changes with 'Vlad so it should be easy to follow them. Note that I changed the default location of the Word doc to be in the same folder as the front-end - that was because I did not want to re-create that big long path you had, feel free to re-instate them by commenting out my lines.
