Here's the table I've created on Microsoft Access...
DrawingNo. Title RequiredDateToClass Revision1 Revision2 Revision3 LatestDate
1813-52.00 MAST 23/01/10 27/01/10 30/01/10 -
1813-56.00 RadioRoom 25/12/09 29/12/09 06/01/10 08/01/10
1813-67.00 ControlRoom - - - -
2729-01.01 IPMS 02/04/10 05/05/10 - -
3076-41.01 FDS 13/01/10 - - -
Right now, the situation is that, from all of these revision date, I need to extract out the LASTEST revision date.. Hence, I'm need to be able to come up with an end product of the below table..
DrawingNo. Title RequiredDateToClass Revision1 Revision2 Revision3 LatestDate
1813-52.00 MAST 23/01/10 27/01/10 30/01/10 - 30/01/10
1813-56.00 RadioRoom 25/12/09 29/12/09 06/01/10 08/01/10 08/01/10
1813-67.00 ControlRoom - - - - -
2729-01.01 IPMS 02/04/10 05/05/10 - - 05/05/10
3076-41.01 FDS 13/01/10 - - - -
I understand that there is a query that allow us to MAX the date. However, in Microsoft Access, the the MAX formula is only applicable to the table's column, not it's rows.. Hence, I need to know is there any other way for me to extract the latest date in Microsoft Access.. I've been trying to figure it out, but because I'm still new to Access, I still need guidance..
Please be patient with me.. I'm very new to access and I'm learning it because I'm doing a project for my internship.. Hence, SQL queries are definitely a no no to me.. i need explanations that are simple yet direct..
Thanks..

Radicrains
