    Default form properties

    Hello All,

Just wondering is there a way to set default form properties.
I am building a database, it will have many forms but having to go on each and every single one to select that I do not want record selectors, control box etc. etc. is beginning to be a bit tedious.
I there anyway to set a default set of properties for forms?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    LJ

There are no global options for setting this kind of thing. What you can do is

    1. Create a new Form
    2. Set the Properties as you want for your defaults
    3. Save it, naming it FormTemplate
    4. When you need a new Form, copy the FormTemplate Form
    5. Paste it, giving it an appropriate name
    6. Repeat as needed

I keep this and other commonly used Functions in a Database file named UtilityApp. When I start a new project, the first thing I do is import things I anticipate needing into the new file.
