    Club Membership Tracking

I am wanting to create a database for tracking:

    • Our Members
    • Contacts (Potential Members)
    • Companies that offer us help with space or food
    • Vendors who sponsor us

Then from the Members I want make sure we capture
    • Date of Membership
    • ISC2 Member Number
    • Email
    • Phone
    • If they are student (Free Member)

Once I have that I would like to be able to track o how many memberships we have grown by or decreased by year over year.

I have taken the Contact Management Template and modified it to these fields but not sure if I have everything I need.
    • Category
      • Member
      • Student
      • Contact
      • Vendor
      • Business

    • Member Date
    • ISC2 Member Number
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
    • Alternate Email
    • Phone Company
    • Notes

Am I on the right track?

To be able to track the number of members over time, you should not remove them, but have an end date in the member table.

What will you do with companies and vendors, exept storing them?

Richard Rost (MVP) has a multipart youtube series on creating an Association application suited to Groups, Clubs, Churches, Schools, etc. I'm sure you will get useful ideas from watching the videos.

Just to store them so if I turn over to another person they have the contacts I have used to get spaces to meet, food, or speakers.
