IIF function in a query using an option group and multiple conditions

I need to know if a IIF statement will work in my case or is there another way to accomplish this task. Column E in the query is OptionGroupNDI, the "1=Requires FPI 2= Requires MPI 3= Not Applicable" is just the option group legend. I am guessing my form could use some simplifying because of all the checkboxes.

    Thanks!
