Highlight issue in access report in report view

How do I deal with this when I click on fields on access database report.

I do not want to see that highlight thing in report view.

Attached is an illustration of what I mean

That's the way Report View behaves. Can't change.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I did some testing. Row only highlights when I click in margin area. If I click directly in any textbox, does not highlight. That's best I can offer.

Do you have to use report view? Print Preview does not seem to exhibit this behaviour.

i compared the two, i.e Print preview and report view and noticed report view will suit my needs.

Not trying to argue the point - just saying in case you didn't know, you can set some report properties such as border style and make it a popup if it has something to do with how it's rendered in print preview. I tried several options but couldn't prevent the highlighting that you don't like, so I guess you have to decide which is worse; highlighting or print preview because you're stuck with the way report view works.

Not sure how to make it clearer. I click anywhere not occupied by a textbox, the row highlights. I click directly inside a textbox and there is no highlight.
