How to create a form that says, "if i make X product, subtract parts used from inventory"

I'm new to access and this forum and have been learning on my own pretty much.

I need a form or similar that I or someone else can fill out that can 'subtract' the parts used to make a product, i have all parts and quantities written in database, but not final product.

For instance, let's say I build a "Table" and it uses X parts. i have X parts used to build "table" in database, but how can I implement the "Table" and tell Access that 1 built "table" uses X parts from inventory.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Attach a sample file so that we can see the structure of the database and consequently give you concrete advice.
