Short Text field - case sensitive

I have a table with a field (not the Key field) defined as Short Text.

In this field I want to enter a 3 character code, which is case sensitive.

If I enter "JoG" (a lower case between two upper case letters then the field is correct JoG
but if I enter "JGo" (two upper case then a lower case) then the field changes to Jgo

Is there any way to stop this behaviour and input and keep, exactly what I type??

I suspect you have spell checking or Autocorrect enabled which will also do some rudimentary case conversions.
Have a look in options, proofing and see what is turned on.

There is an option for Correct TWo INitial CApitals !
