Post Can't get form I've designed to open at the right size - it fills the screen

I haven't used Access for many years, and have just re-started with Access 365. I designed my first form very simply to try things out - in Design View it was about 12 cms square and had just one control. However when opened the form completely filled the screen with no borders. The form header and control were in the right position relative to each other in the top left of the workspace. There were no scroll bars, so I couldn't see if the borders were somewhere beyond the screen. The width property was set to 12cms as I expected. I tried various other properties, but could make no difference.

How to I get it behave just like the old days? Any ideas will be gratefully received.

If there is a tab at the top with the name or caption of your form, then you designed with the default "tabbed" view. You'd have to go into options and select cascading forms (?), or IIRC you will have to make certain forms popups.

I think @micron meant to say go into Access options and select overlapping windows instead of tabbed documents

Yeah, I was being too lazy to open Access just to pin it down.
    Thanks.
