Inserting into or updating a multivalue field

I want to insert or update contents of a multivalue field. But I get the error that, I cannot insert or update into that field using a query.

Can somebody assist with a work around?

You've discovered one of the many drawbacks with multivalue fields.
You can run action queries but its not easy. See my article Multivalued Fields (isladogs.co.uk)
However, the best advice is to get rid of all MVFs and use the standard approach placing the data in a separate table with one item per record.

I don't use MVF's but think I just discovered one situation where they offer an advantage. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...a010149297#bm4
