    Error 2950 when opening database

I have researched the other occurrences of this error on the board, but none of them address my problem. The message is "format ([AwardDate],"m/d/yyyy)" I have recently moved the application from a Windows Vista computer to a new Windows 7. Since then I have been getting the error and it won't let me get into the application at all. I am using Access 2010. I MUST have this application as it pertains to my business. Please help me!!

Can you try on another Windows 7 computer?

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

I recommend you try to post the database to June7 for review.

This issue occurs if the database is not trusted. Did you set up your trust locations?

Trust it or change Macro Settings to enable all macros.

    Hi jfkboise,

This error occurs when MS Access does not trust the database. So by default, access opens that database which is not trusted in disabled mode.

In disabled mode, executable content will be disabled and will prevent you from running a macro.

You can fix it by enabling the database for the current session:

    1. Open your MS Access database.
    2. From the security warning message bar, click on Options.
    3. When the 'MS Office Security Options' dialog box opens, click on "enable this content".
    4. Click on OK.

This worked out for me. Kindly reply if this doesn't work out for you.

    Best Regards.

Chris, you resurrected a 9-year-old thread. Doubt you will get response from OP.
