    Tables in backend lost

I tried to remove 1 table from the backend and now they are all lost. How can I get my tables back?
    Thanks

Tables that are in a back end are only linked to the front end. If you deleted anything from the front end, it was only the links. Just re-link them.
If you're saying you removed tables from the back end itself, they are gone. You'd have to get them back from a saved be copy.

Can't say I ever experienced all tables being removed from the be if I just removed one. Make sure you close and reopen the be before determining that they are all gone. The only way I can see that happening is if you had selected all of them and hit delete.

The front end shows only two tables instead of 30+ before:

Do you know where your backend is located?

If so can you open it by itself (not through the front end)?

Are your tables in the backend when you open it on it's own?

We need to know that you still actually have a backend file.

    When was your last backup?
Did you try relinking as micron suggested?

    Is this production/operational database?

[/CITAAT]

Usually it would still show the table links, you would just get an ODBC error trying to open them (at least for SQL). If you had 30 and now have 2 but only deleted 1, kinda don't make sense. Is your backend Access or SQL? Did you delete the link in the FE or BE as others asked also?

So you are not going to say how it was solved, despite being asked?
