Picture class in Access VBA not available

Access VBA will not recognize the Picture class. After I typed in "Dim pic as" (to write Dim pic as Picture) a combo menu is shown with different things, but the built-in Picture class is not shown. What am I missing here?

Where have you heard of a MS Access built-in Picture class? What are you trying to do?

    Hi!

Thanks for your response. The picture class is referenced by Matt Mickle in the below link and other websites I have bumped into. My VBA references can be found below.

So perhaps add the Excel reference?

But why? What is the OP trying to achieve that requires a picture class? Add a picture to a form - you simply do that with an image control.

And using ControlSource property bound to a field, no VBA is needed. Review https://www.accessforums.net/showthr...t=73766&page=2

    Unless Excel automation is desired.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
