Vlad, I see what you did, and thank you. It looks like it eliminated the need for Eval in the frmMgtComponent_MCfield (parameter from combo box without wildcard). When I apply this to the frmMgtMCField (parameter from txt with wild card), it eliminated the need for the eval, but now getting error 3265 Item not found. I took everything out except the ComponentName (parameter with wildcard) and still not finding the field. I think this is still due to the wildcard issue we have been discussing. The Wildcard will still need the Eval function for this code.



Paul, this was the parameter I was writing wrong. Putting the eval in the wrong place (as well as the quotation mark use) didn't help my situation.

With all the input and changes, it is now working! I cannot tell you now much I appreciate this. I knew what I wanted, just couldn't get there. You guys are rockstars!!!!! Know this was maddning, but worth it at the end. Couldn't have done it without you.
