Suggestions for how to remove 'seconds' from date field in report

I have a date field in a report where the raw format is 'mm.dd.yyyy hh.mm.ss'.

All I am looking to do is remove the 'seconds' component from the date (i.e. 'mm.dd.yyyy hh.mm').

But I can't seem to find a formatting style to do that. Either its all or reduced down to just the mm.dd.yyyy

Any suggestions?

Would have thought

mm.dd.yyyy hh.mm

would work although usual structure is

mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn

Either:

1. in textbox Format property: mm\.dd\.yyyy hh\.nn

2. expression in textbox ControlSource: Format([field], "mm.dd.yyyy hh.nn")

Thank you both. I used mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn in the format box and it worked!
