    Restore database failed in SSMS

    I am trying to restore adventureworks database using this guide (using .bak)

    But I get error, database is in use? until i restart
    Why I am getting this error.

    For restoring a database you need exclusive access to the database. In use could mean a front end application (like access) has an open dataset , or another user is logged in doing some stuff, or the job agent is running a job, ... . Restarting will kick all users from the system granting you exclusive access to the database.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
