    Fingerprint scanner for record lookup

    Good morning,
A friend of mine owns a health club and has all members on a MS access database.

Each user has their own unique member ID.
My question is, is there a way that I can use a USB finger print scanner (such as this one here: Garsent USB Fingerprint Reader Compact, 144 MHz Optical USB Fingerprint Scanner Sensor for Biometric Access Control Attendance System https://amzn.eu/d/dvkrNla) to open up a members record in access.
At busy times when just opening we can have queues of people and this would simply speed the process up.
If this is possible, is there a guide on how I would do this? The database was created by someone else 10+ years ago

    I approved your post.
Have you searched generally for any info on finger print reader with MS Access?
Have you contacted the manufacturer for details and suitability?

Here is an older (2015) link.

A scanner is just another input source.
Look at the similar threads at the bottom of this one. The links look promising.?
