    Getting a field off a subform on a subform?

    Hi all,
    I am trying to get a filed called FileName off of one of my subforms.
    I have tried these plus other methods found in some stuff Macron gave me.

    Code:
    =[Forms]![frmBusiness]![sfrmBusinessContacts]![sfrmContacts].[Form]![FileName]

    =[Forms]![frmBusiness]![sfrmBusinessContacts].[Form]![sfrmContacts].[Form]![FileName]
    Primary Form = frmBusiness
    Subform = sfrmBusinessContacts
    Form on Subform = frmBusinessContact
    The subform on frmBusinessContact = sfrmContact
    The form on sfrmContact is frmCert
    The Field I am seeking is = FileName

    Any ideas or ?
    Thanks
    Dave

    It is NEVER the subform name, but the subform CONTROL NAME.

    Sometimes they are the same name but the important fact is you are referencing the subform CONTROL NAME
