Using a Checkbox on a Form based on a Query doesn't work

    Hi Forumers,

I've created a query based on several tables & one table has a Yes/No Field for a selection option.
I then created a Form based on this query including the Yes/No field, the Field is connected to the Form but when I go to test it, it will not change when I try to select any record from the Form?

I wondered if there was a limitation with Access with Queries as a source, so I created a Form based on a Table & it works fine.
I need this to work from the Query, anyone know what's possible to achieve this?

    Thanks

    Query could be read only?
Can you amend the query directly?
