    Open Excel from within Access?

Hi. I'm trying to export data from an Access database into an Excel spreadsheet. I've got the 'OUTPUT TO' command sorted ok within a macro, but I'd like to now use a button to run a macro that lets you view the outputted Excel file. Does anyone know how to do this please?
    Many thanks. Kelvin

If I understand correctly, you are able to create your Excel file and want to use a macro to open it.

Have you tried using the RunApp action in your macro? You will need to know where your version of Excel is located and put it in your command line along with the file that you want to open.

    ex.

    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\EXCEL.exe" yourfile.xls
