Access accdb crashes Execution of this application has stopped due to a run-time error

    Hello All,
I have an accdb that has been working fine on 5 Windows 10 pro with office 365 pcs." It is being loaded with the /runtime switch although the full version of Access is on the pc.
One pc had issues after a windows update and had to run windows reset on it and Office was reinstalled but after that the access accdb front end crashes with the "Execution of this application has stopped due to a run-time error" displaying.

I ran a full repair of Office but it still failed to load. Ran a sfc /scannow found some corrupt files and fixed them but accdb still crashed.
I copied the front end to another pc and it runs fine.
I copied a working front end from another pc and put it on the pc with the issue and it will not run so I know it's something on the pc.
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with the offending pc?

    Thanks for any ideas.

Windows updates or Office 365 updates. Been happening a fair bit recently. Roll back on each, Office first I would have thought.

It may well be the pc but always worth asking the question as it it not clear from your post- is your db split with the BE on a server or other shared device and each user has their copy of the FE on their pc? If you are not, that could be the start of your problem

Also on the offending PC, try running with the full version rather than with the runtime switch

Thanks for the reply, it was after July windows updates but I couldn't roll them back because they caused Windows to stop loading so I ended up doing a system reset but that didn't help

    Thanks for the reply.
Yes the the db is split with FE on desktop and BE on server. This app has been working for 5+ years with no issues but after the July Windows updates caused the pc to have issues loading in "real" mode I had to do a system reset in "Safe" mode but after the reset and reloading Office I began having the issue. I will try without the /runtime switch to see if it makes a difference

I *thought* a restore point was created before any large windows updates?
