    yes, i tried the criteria with the actual value (it was "7"), i tried with "int" cause it is a number. Actually i do not understand why it works, but it's like life, never questioning why it works when it works

    Oh, no I am quite the opposite, wanting to know why.
    So if you are searching for a number using a string or vice versa not good.
    That infers Val() would work just as well?
