Hi I have a reportage system in access, 2 frontend Linked to one backend.
Starting 01 Jun I get sometimes a data conflict copy of the backend. Loosing some data in the original backend
Frontend is located lokal on c drive, and the backend is located on the netværk.
I Can not see Anthony wrong I have not changed Anthony, and the system has been running for more than 10 years

    What can course this problem?

I think translation has muddled your message

Did you mean: I can not see anything wrong. I have not changed anything, and the system has been running for more than 10 years.

You didn't state whether the backend is Access or SQL Server
Did you mean you have 2 copies of the same frontend or 2 different Access FEs?

This article may help you pin down the problem: https://www.isladogs.co.uk/write-con...ors/index.html

Write conflict errors do not cause standard Access error messages.
You need to pin down the cause of the write conflict so you can eliminate it

Does the error occur only when both copies of the FE are open and referencing the same table?
Or does it occur when only one copy of the FE is open?

Is it an Access BE or SQL Server BE?

    Hi Thank you

    it is a access BE.

it comes when both FE are open, but not to necessary writing to the same tabel.

    Thanks.
Have you read the article linked in post #2 and tested each of the suggestions?

    Hi

I Think the mistake is a conflict between 64bit and 32bit.

The backend is 32bit, and most of the frontends is also 32bit.

The frontend that I Think courses the failure is a new computer with a 64bit access.

The timeline fits with the new computer, and the conflict only happends with this computer active.

Do you now how to avoid this failure, when using both 32bit and 64bit.

    Regards

    Tony
