Need help using an update query to remove '#' sign from fields

Hello. I have a database where I import in customer complaints. All these complaints are submitted by employees on a seperate platform. Unfortunately since its user inputted data, they sometimes put a # sign in front of the customer's ID. All we want though is just the raw digits. (i.e. 121232 and not #121232)

I was hoping to use an update query to scrub this field and remove all '#' signs. Any suggestions on how to actually create that? My field name is 'CustomerID'.

Use the Replace() function in an update query to replace # with "".
